It verifies the computation of the tip amount, and automatically closes the ticket. Depending on a restaurant application or operation, staff can line up and process multiple receipts in seconds.
Where applicable, Tip Adjust Automation identifies and auto-corrects mathematical errors caused by inaccurate “Tip” or “Total” values written in by customers on physical guest checks. Merchants no longer spend time investigating and correcting charged amounts after the fact. When applicable, the POS system provides staff with options for correcting mistakes prior to settlement, greatly reducing chargebacks.
