Continue Operating During Power and Internet Outages |
Power Outages Power outages can be catastrophic for restaurants. A loss of power means restaurants are unable to prepare food and cannot accept orders or payments with their digital system. Because of this, restaurants are forced to close their doors until power services are restored to an uninterrupted level. The best way to prevent power loss in a restaurant is by installing an individual uninterrupted power supply (UPS) that feeds power to the store’s Wi-Fi router, point-of-sale terminals, and network printers. This enables restaurant staff to continue operating their Aldelo Express Point-of-Sale system in the event of power outages caused by hurricanes, thunder/lightning storms, heat waves, or provider malfunctions. At a minimum, a business is able to properly close checks and process transactions for conducting an orderly close of the restaurant until power can be restored. |
