The new QR Code Scan & Pay feature is used by customers from their smartphone to complete payments, and does not rely on the restaurant’s internal networks. With this tool, restaurants can print single-use QR codes on receipts that can be presented to customers to speed up the payment process without engagement from restaurant staff. This allows the staff to work more efficiently and productively by not requiring them to tend to every customer payment transaction.

QR Code Fast Pay enables restaurant staff to accept Masa+ digital payments in seconds by scanning a unique QR code presented from the customer’s smartphone, using built-in cameras on Aldelo Express iPad POS devices. The new Masa+ feature generates a single-use QR code identifier directly from the customer’s Masa+ Secure Wallet that enables customer-selected payment(s) but has no relation to their underlying payment method (personal credit cards, loyalty accounts, and egift cards), offering the highest security benefits for both customers and the business.

Aldelo Express In-App Manual Credit Card Entry means restaurant staff easily process a manual credit card transaction without ever exchanging a physical card.
