Remote Desktop Protocol or RDP is an advanced setup that does require the use of Microsoft Windows Server  and the purchase of RDP User Cal licenses from Microsoft.  This does allow you to use your Aldelo Point of Sale on Tablets, or PC's running any RDP client that Microsoft Windows Server supports.  

If you are moving to a mobile platform, you may wish to use Aldelo Express for Apple iPad or Android instead as this version of Aldelo software is already mobile ready for both Order entry and payment processing and extend the features of your point of sale to multi-store gift, MASA+ Online Ordering, Kitchen Display systems, Kiosk and much more without the expense or maintenance of a Windows Server. These programs can be found on the Apple App store or Google Play Store.  

These are native apps to both the Apple iPad and Android OS and work seamlessly together or standalone.
