"Swipe to Open Tab" Feature No Longer Supported

The Payment Credit Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) was updated and now requires security standards to apply to Cardholder Data (CHD). Cardholder Data includes: the Primary Account Number (PAN), Cardholder name, and the card Expiration date. This information is now sensitive data, and must be treated with enhanced security measures.

Because of this new update, Aldelo Express will no longer support "swipe to open bar tab" with a customer credit card, since this feature would require Aldelo Express to store and display cardholder data on the POS device. This would be against the latest PCI DSS guidelines.
