Aldelo For Restaurants and Aldelo EDC software products are designed to be extensible by third party independent software vendors (ISV). Our software products are open architectured and are an ideal platform for ISVs to build value added solutions and extensions.
Our software development kits are provided to qualified ISVs free of charge. Additionally, end users do not need to pay additional integration licenses to Aldelo in order to utilize ISV solutions.
Developing integrated solutions with Aldelo software is quite straightforward. Our Aldelo For Restaurants software provides 4 integration SDKs and sample source code is provided. Our Aldelo EDC integration utilizes industry standard web services and sample code for cryptography is also provided. We also offer basic integration guidance free of charge.
The following is a brief overview of each SDK offered by our Aldelo software products.
Aldelo For Restaurants System Integration SDK
This SDK allows ISV to create order, edit, settle and print orders. Additionally, system interaction services are provided with method calls as well as SQL execution abilities. This SDK contains sample source code written in C# to demonstrate basic functionality. Both Early Bound and Late Bound examples are demonstrated. The ideal ISV candidates for this SDK may be vendors that provide Online Ordering Service, Kiosk Ordering Service, Mobile Ordering Service, Reservation Services and any other integrated solutions that require bi-directional access to the POS system.
Aldelo For Restaurants TCP Packet Notification SDK
The TCP Packet Notification SDK allows ISV to create an integrated solution that monitors for POS system events notified via TCP packets. Such events are fired during order entry, order settlement and other related activities. Vendors such as Video Surveillance manufacturers or similar field may find this SDK useful in monitoring POS events and handling them accordingly within the integrated solution.
Aldelo For Restaurants Folio Payment SDK
The Folio Payment SDK contains sample C# source code that demonstrates how hotel systems can integrate with Aldelo For Restaurants. This SDK is very useful for ISVs to build links between Aldelo For Restaurants and third party hotel management solutions. This SDK provides the ability for Room Charge Inquire and Posting integrations.
Aldelo For Restaurants Order Finalization SDK
The Order Finalization SDK explains how Aldelo For Restaurants can invoke external DLL during order settlement finalization workflow. This SDK allows ISVs to create special solutions that handle additional tasks upon order finalization, such as fulfilling local governmental fiscal requirements. This SDK is also great for any integrated solutions that need to be invoked during order finalization.
Aldelo EDC Payment Service Integration SDK
Aldelo EDC provides third party business solutions payment processing integration capabilities via industry standard web services. This SDK is great for ISVs whose solutions require payment processing and would like to utilize Aldelo EDC as the payment engine. Integration is extremely simple and we offer C# source code on AES cryptography to help ISVs get up to speed fast.
In addition to free SDKs and free guidance, our technical group offers free certification service to ISV partners.
Once your integrated solution is ready for certification, we will assign a certification engineer to the project and perform a full range of certification testing to ensure proper functionality.
