Aldelo software products are distributed as a physical package or as an electronic download from secured websites controlled by Aldelo, L.P.
When we distribute our software products via physical delivery, it will consist of a mass produced and pre-printed software box or a DVD case with mass produced and pre-printed color insert. Packages will contain a silk screened CD along with other Aldelo printed materials where applicable. The package itself will also have a product serial sticker affixed. As an end user, you will be able to register and activate your license with this serial number.
When we distribute our software products via electronic delivery, you will receive software download instructions along with the associated software serial number. The serial number provided by Aldelo or our dealers will allow you to register and activate your license. Our electronic delivery method will always require you to download our software products from the secured full version download web site at https://downloads.aldelo.com. Please note that our secured download site is protected by a SSL certificate issued to Aldelo Systems Inc. Instruction to download our software products from any other websites should not be followed and may expose you to harmful wares. In such an event, please notify us immediately at management@aldelo.com.
Whether the software delivery method was physical shipment or electronic download, the product serial number disclosure path is directly from Aldelo Product Fulfillment to your dealer, and then to your designated receiver. Alternatively, the path of distribution may be sent directly from Aldelo Product Fulfillment to your designated receiver in case of a drop shipment. This means there will be no other parties able to discover your product serial numbers other than those in the fulfillment path. Once you receive the product, protect the serial number with the same effort as any other financial instruments. You should also register the license immediately if possible.
When you install any of the Aldelo software products, you will notice the installation file provided by Aldelo consists of Digital Signatures. These digital signatures are code signed during the installation file creation. If your installation file does not have the Digital Signatures, please contact our sales office at sales@aldelo.com to ensure product authenticity.
Authentic Aldelo software products do not require any external software application loaders or special starter utilities in order to launch and use our software. If you are instructed to always use external tools to launch our software products or if our software executables do not look correct in terms of file size, then please contact our sales office immediately at management@aldelo.com.
For example, the Aldelo For Restaurants executable AFR38.exe and AFRW38.exe are always slightly over 4 MB in size. To launch and use Aldelo For Restaurants, you should be able to simply double click on the AFR38.exe or AFRW38.exe executable file. If the file size of your executable file is significantly less, or if you have to launch another program in order to start Aldelo For Restaurants, then almost certainly the product you have is not authentic.
